Will OnBuoy let me know if someone is going to tie up to my moorage?

Yes. You’ll receive email alerts when someone requests to book and when you get Inbox messages. No guest is allowed to use your moorage without your explicit approval.

Respect for privacy and private property are a hallmark of the OnBuoy community. That means no one in the OnBuoy community is authorized to use your moorage without your explicit approval.

Whenever a boater submits a request to book your moorage, you'll receive a prompt notification via email. This gives you the opportunity to review the guest's profile, their boat details, and their intended stay dates before you decide to accept or decline the reservation.

OnBuoy will never authorize guests to stay at your moorage without your explicit permission and review of the request.

So, in summary, yes, you'll receive email notifications:

  • When someone requests to use your moorage, and
  • When someone sends you a message through the OnBuoy Inbox.
